Nicki Minaj doesn’t appear to be putting her support behind Barack Obama, saying in a new song that she’s voting Republican.

It might not be the most traditional endorsement, but Minaj squeezes Republican Mitt Romney’s name into the song “Mercy” with Lil Wayne.

“I’m a Republican voting for Mitt Romney,” she raps. “You lazy bitches are f—king up the economy.”

Republican candidates have had a delicate relationship with musicians in the past. Numerous musicians have demanded candidates stop playing their music during campaign events.

Dee Snider recently asked the Paul Ryan camp to stop playing his song, “We’re not going to take it.” The Ryan campaign responded by saying, “We’re not going to play it anymore.”

So maybe the Republicans could start using Minaj’s song?

Hear the song here.
