As star debuts new single his romance with Spring Breakers babe is said to be over
Justin Bieber and on/off girlfriend Selena Gomez have reportedly split for good following recent claims of a reconciliation, ironically as the star debuts his new single ‘Heartbreaker’.
The star, who originally split from the Spring Breakers babe in December after two years together, have reportedly agreed to be “just friends,” an insider claims though didn’t rule out the couple getting back together again.
“They are not together right now,” a source told HollywoodLife. “They are just friends. They are always on and off.”
Gomez initially sparked speculation the ultimate teen romance was back on when she visited the star in Oslo during the European leg of his Believe world tour. Justin then posted a series of snaps on his Instagram account with the couple together, implying the relationship had been rekindled.
They then shared a friendly kiss backstage at the Billboard Music Awards last month, amid claims the pair were “officially dating,” once again.
“Justin and Selena are dating but they are taking things slow,” a source told HollywoodLife at the time.
“Selena is keeping her heart from being broken, so she is definitely looking at this as a trial period in their relationship,”
They went on: “She’s definitely taking [baby] steps back.”
“When they first started to date, it was amazing but they were too young and it was too much,”
The insider added: “They didn’t even know what love was and she got all mixed up.”
