A source confirmed to E! News that the Oscar-nominated actress and Shulman will wed in a private ceremony in the picturesque region on California’s Central Coast.

Hathaway’s rep had no immediate comment on the reports.

At the July premiere of “The Dark Knight Rises,” Hathaway said that she hadn’t found a wedding dress yet, but Valentino Garavani revealed at the New York City Ballet’s fall gala that he “did the dress” for the actress’ nuptials.

“She’s a very good friend of mine… She’s like my daughter!” Valentino told E! News at the September 20 event. “She’s sensational. She’s fantastic. She’s a girl that… She deserves what she has in this life.”

Shulman, 31, is also an actor. He appeared on the show “American Dreams” in 2005 and in the 2007 television film “The Dukes of Hazzard: The Beginning.”

The pair’s engagement was confirmed by Hathaway’s spokesperson on Monday, November 28. This will mark the first marriage for the 29-year-old actress.

Hathaway and Shulman, who are both from New York, first stepped out publicly together in the fall of 2008, soon after the actress ended her relationship with Italian real estate developer Raffaello Follieri.

Follieri was recently released from prison. In 2008, he was sentenced to more than four years behind bars for cheating investors out of millions of dollars by falsely claiming he had Vatican connections that enabled him to buy church property at a discount. Jewelry that Follieri gave the actress was auctioned off by U.S. marshals.
