Beyonce achieves the impossible and looks even more beautiful in half naked US Vogue photos

The singer dazzled in red in the fashion magazine’s power edition – reminding us that she’s some sort of magical queen, if not a real one

Beyonce graces the cover of Vogue’s March Power issue!

With dozens of young female stars snapping at her ankles with their number one singles, tiny clothes and sexy dance moves, it can’t be easy for Beyonce to hold on to her position as the world’s biggest female artist. Yet every time it looks as if she might give in to the likes of Rihanna, Katy Perry or, shudder, Rita Ora, Beyonce comes swooshing back into the room and plants her incredible bottom back in the throne.

In the last month alone, Beyonce sung at the Presidential Inauguration, dominated the Super Bowl, reunited with Destiny’s Child and launched a tell-all documentary.

And now she’s graced the cover of US Vogue. Wearing a dramatic red Esmeralda-style gown, Beyonce is seen draping herself across a chaise longue (try and say that without doing a posh accent).

In another, Beyonce is wearing a beautiful set of lingerie, with a long dressing gown hanging open to reveal her perfect figure. This is exactly what we imagine she looks like first thing in the morning, with Jay Z peeking out from their platinum sheets with a hopeful expression on his face.

In the March issue of US Vogue , Beyonce also opens up for the first time about childbirth and her connection with her one-year-old daughter Blue Ivy.

She told the magazine: “I felt very maternal around eight months. And I thought I couldn’t become any more until I saw the baby. But it happened during my labour because I had a very strong connection with my child.

“I felt like when I was having contractions, I envisioned my child pushing through a very heavy door. And I imagined this tiny infant doing all the work, so I couldn’t think about my own pain.

“We were talking. I know it sounds crazy, but I felt a communication.”
