Dave Grohl, Francis Bean Cobain Lash Out At Courtney Love Over Sexual Allegations

Dave Grohl, Francis Bean Cobain Lash Out At Courtney Love Over Sexual Allegations

Courtney Love and Dave Grohl haven’t exactly been on the same page the last decade or so, but their

feud hit a new low point last night after the former hit up Twitter with some wild allegations. In a rambling series of

messages that touched on everything from Buddhism to Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins being “submissive”, Love accused

Grohl of trying to have sex with her daughter Francis Bean Cobain during a recent night out.

Sexual Allegations

Not surprisingly, both Grohl and Cobain have

already responded, completely denying anything shady happened. The likeable drummer told E! News the story was “upsetting, offensive

and absolutely untrue”, while Courtney’s daughter released a longer statement essentially throwing the middle finger up at

her mother. You can take a look at it below…

“While I’m generally silent on the affairs of my

biological mother, her recent tirade has taken a gross turn. I have never been approached by Dave Grohl in more than a

platonic way. I’m in a monogamous relationship and very happy. Twitter should ban my mother.”

There’s a lot

about this story that is absolutely baffling. First, it confuses me why Love hates Grohl so much. I’m not sure I’ve ever

heard anyone say a negative word about the drummer, including his other former bandmembers. He seems like a really good dude.

Second, I don’t get why anyone would attack her own daughter on Twitter about rumors she heard from “reliable sources”. And

third, I don’t understand why Grohl and Cobain would even want to sleep with each other given they’re both in long-term

relationships and more importantly, have known each other since she was an infant. Regardless, I’m sure Love had her reasons

for addressing it in the way she did.

If you’re hoping to get a look at the actual statements Love made on Twitter,

you can hop on over to Gawker. The outlet was able to

get a screenshot of her salacious and downright weird allegations.
