The singer had nothing but praise for the show
Nicki Minaj was one of the more controversial judges on the programme and although she announced she was leaving she is nothing but positive about her experience.
It was a season filled with temper, tantrums and a few fabulous costumes but now that it’s all over Nicki Minaj can only praise her experience as a judge, enjoying the fact that it allowed her to see dreams come true.
She told E! News that it was “really inspiring” going on to say that she “got a chance to see kids fulfill their dreams and be part of that”.
Despite being blasted online for her particular way of judging the contestants Minaj has said that her time on the show was “a blessing”, being a “great” experience.
She stated that her time on the show allowed her to grow and see how the world views her: “I had a wonderful time and I learned a lot about myself; I learned a lot about the world’s perception of me. And I think it was a great thing for hip-hop to see me transcend, and then I can come back and still do the BET Awards and still be authentic in what I do”.
Even though the show allowed the ‘Starships’ singer to do this she won’t return as she wishes to now “focus on her music”.
And who will step into her six inch heels? “No idea” she claims joking, “God bless them!”
