Fresh off a meeting with President Barack Obama, rapper and producer Kanye West is throwing his support behind Democrats and urging people to vote in Tuesday’s midterms.
“Me and my wife met with President Obama two weeks ago,” West, who is married to reality star Kim Kardashian, tweeted Tuesday evening.
West then tweeted his support for the party and called the midterms “extremely important,” before asking people to turn up on Tuesday and vote for Democrats.

Kardashian herself expressed support for Obama and encouraged her Twitter followers earlier on Tuesday to go out and vote.
