She loves pink lippie too much

She’s renowned for her trademark baby pink lipstick in videos such as ‘Super Bass’ and ‘Stupid H*e,’ so when Nicki Minaj pounced on an unassuming male journalist to share her lippy tips, we weren’t all too surprised.

The 29-year-old female rapper is just as renowned for her signature make-up look of fake lashes, heavily contoured cheeks and bright pink lipstick just as much as her music, and as she continued to promote her new MAC lipgloss line for Viva Glam, we got to see her passion.

Nicki proved how torrid she is about lipstick, saying it can help a face ”come to life,” as she gave a male journalist a real life master class on how to create the perfect pout – but not on herself, on him…

“You’ve never put on lipstick? [Turns to entourage] Do we have a brand new lipstick? [Grabs lipstick from assistant] Now, I’m going to apply it,” Nicki said, whilst smothering a maleGuardian journalist with bright pink lippy.

“Look, you start right on the outer ridges. Oh my God look at how your face is coming to life already! Amazing. I love it. Oh this colour is so pretty,” she went on.

She continued: “Oh God. Doesn’t he look nice? I swear! I’m not kidding! It looks pretty. I know that’s not what you wanted to hear.”

Nicki also revealed her favourite shades of pink lipstick to the presumably traumatised male interviewer, stating: “Well, flamingo pink. Hot pink. Baby pink! HOT PINK! And fuchsia.”

In related news, singer Miley Cyrus channelled Nicki Minaj for Halloween this year as she dolled up in a yellow wig, leopard print jumpsuit and, oh look, pink lipstick!

We’re not going anywhere near you when lipstick’s around, Nicki!
