Nicki Minaj has been revealed as part of the line-up for BBC Radio 1’s Hackney Weekend.
The ‘Starships’ rapper has been announced as part of the line-up, joining the likes of Jay-Z, Leona Lewis, The Maccabees and Kasabian to celebrate the upcoming London Olympics.
The event will be hosted on the Hackney Marshes on June 23-24, with 100,000 lucky ticket holders watching Jay-Z headline on the Saturday night before Rihanna plays a headlining slot the following night.
Nicki is currently promoting her second album ‘Pink Friday: Roman’s Revenge’, and is expected to perform some of her biggest singles as well as tracks taken from her latest LP.
