PDA alert: Britney Spears and her new boyfriend hold hands in public for the first time

Britney Spears

They’re in LOVE! Well, they’re holding hands in a car park in LA and that’s basically the same thing

The couple who make massive fashion mistakes together, stay together. Or at least we hope that’s true for Britney Spears and her new boyfriend David Lucardo.

Britney went out wearing a black dress that looks like it came from an M&S bra fitter’s uniform cupboard, and her new bloke, normal Dave (as we like to call him) wore a dodgy waistcoat/ shirt/ hat combination. Is this his version of smart casual, as in smart jacket and waistcoat, casual cap and jeans? No, Dave, no.

But, bad outfits aside, look! They’re holding hands for the first time out in public, ever! In the most romantic of all the settings – a shopping centre car park.

They were shopping in Thousand Oaks, near Britney’s Los Angeles home. Britney and Dave (who’s an assistant at a legal firm) have been dating since February, but this is the first time we’ve seen them actually hold hands.

They’ve been spotted on a series of low-key (read: probably cheap, as Dave is a 27 year old normal, and he’s probably paying) dates like going for sushi, playing golf and er, going to the sunbeds.

The former X Factor USA judge broke off her engagement to her agent, Jason Trawick, in January. Which is sad. But he’s probably glad – after all, Britney’s fashion kryptonite to most of her boyfriends. Remember the matching denim with Justin Timberlake? Exactly.

Britney recently revealed she’s shot a cover for US diet magazine Shape – but also got a KFC takeaway on the same day. Brit’s looking amazing at the moment, so we can’t wait to see what she looks like in a bikini.
