The star was meant to be playing the Barclays Center on Saturday, May 4, but the gig has now been shunted back to allow the venue’s resident team, the Brooklyn Nets, to face the Chicago Bulls in the NBA play-offs.

RiRi will now play on Tuesday, May 7, and has been priased by CEO Brett Yormark for co-operating with bosses.

“I want to apologise to Rihanna’s fans for the inconvenience of having to reschedule her show at Barclays Center from Saturday, May 4 to Tuesday, May 7 due to Game 7 of the Brooklyn Nets-Chicago Bulls NBA Playoffs series,” he said.

“I want to thank Rihanna for working with us on this new date and for understanding what a Game 7 in Brooklyn means to the borough. We look forward to a special concert and I hope Rihanna will be our guest at Game 7.”

Rihanna’s tour has already faced a few similar minor problems, including dates being axed due to the star’s health.

She blamed the issues on exhaustion.

Yesterday it was announced that she’s been voted the 2nd sexiest woman in the world by readers of FHM.

Rihanna made a speedy recovery from her two day stint in hospital, just in time for an all-night partying session at a South Beach night club last night. She had returned to the stage in Tampa, Florida earlier that evening
