A source has denied the claims
Sofia Vergara has been accused of staging the wardrobe malfunction that left the back of her dress split, exposing her famous booty.
An “insider” told the National Enquirer that the whole thing was a publicity stunt designed to upstage Modern Family co-star Julie Bowen after she beat her to an award.
“Sofia’s an absolute genius at publicity,” they said.
“The spin around town is that it was no accident. Julie won the Emmy, but Sofia ended up the star of the night!”
Hmmm. Despite the accusation, a source close to the star has told Gossip Cop that theEnquirer report is “100% fabricated”, adding that Vergara doesn’t need to split her own dress to drum up some media attention.
