Joan Collins has said her fifth marriage is her “happiest and last.

The actress, 81, will celebrate her 13th wedding anniversary next month with theatre manager husband Percy Gibson, who is 32 years her junior.

She said: “Percy is wonderful. He’s my soulmate. It is my fifth marriage and my happiest and last.

That doesn’t mean we don’t bicker but we’re understanding of each other.

Percy admitted he enjoyed proving people wrong who thought the couple would not go the distance and added: “I’ve never been happier and I hope I make Joan happy because she deserves that.

Former Dynasty star Joan also told Hello! magazine she marked being made a Dame in the New Year’s Honours List with a raucous celebration.

She explained: “We took 14 friends to the Wolseley restaurant in London.

I have to make a public apology to other diners if our loud renditions of There is Nothin’ Like a Dame disturbed them.
