Galaxy S6 is Samsung’s sixth flagship smartphone, and the reason behind Samsung Mobile’s success is the Galaxy S series. However, Samsung was criticized for making smartphones with a ‘plastic’ feel, but they changed everything with the new Galaxy S6 by introducing aluminum frame and a Corning Gorilla Glass 4 front and back. With the change in the design, Samsung is finally able to deliver the ‘premium feel’ in the new Galaxy S6.

Although, the successor still reminds us about the predecessors when we talk about design, but the main point is that Samsung changed the material used in the design, which is actually a huge leap for Samsung and something their consumers have been waiting for.

However, with all this new design and additions, there are some trade-offs as well. The Galaxy S6 will not feature removable battery as well as microSD card slot, and also it will miss on the waterproof feature. Users might react to all these missing features, but look at the bright side.

Instead of a removable plastic back, there is a Gorilla Glass on the back which is strong yet premium. MicroSD card might be essential for some people but it is time to move on to unlimited cloud storage, which can be accessible from multiple devices instead of just one.

The Galaxy S6 will feature a Samsung Exynos 7420 Quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 & Quad-core 2.1 GHz Cortex-A57, 5.1 inch SUPER AMOLED display with 2560 x 1440 resolution, 577 ppi, 3 GB RAM, 16 MP rear camera with OIS5 MP front-facing camera with 90 degree wide angle lens, Android 5.0 Lollipop, 2,550 mAh battery with WPC and PMA-compatible wireless charging. The device will be available in Black, White, Gold and Blue color.

Samsung set the bar really high with the new Galaxy S6. Do you think its competitors will be able to match it? Let us know in the comment box below.
