Now, the beep on the device – to signal the location of a lost item – is three times louder and works up to 100 feet.

In addition, the new Tile has added a feature to help with hard-to-find items: when a user loses something, he or she can notify the Tile network, which will activate every user’s phone to look for the item.

The new Tile has also updated its app to help users who have lost their phone, allowing for the system to call a phone when lost, and has added an Apple Watch app.

The Tile is available for US$25 (RM102) or can be installed as an app on smartphones. — AFP Relaxnews
