Brad Pitt was the perfect choice for the new Chanel No 5 campaign; dressed casually in a shirt and jeans, the ‘Moneyball’ actor stands in a black and white world – save for a golden bottle of the iconic perfume – staring seductively down the camera lens.

And then he lends his dulcet tones to a powerful soliloquy:

“It’s not a journey. Every journey ends. We go on. The world turns and we turn with it.”

“Plans disappear. Dreams take over. But wherever I go, there you are: My luck. My Fate. My Fortune. Chanel No5, Inevitable.”

If you listen ever so closely, you’ll be able to hear the quickening heartbeats of Brad’s female fans all over the world…

Brad Pitt earned a reported £4.5million for the ads, making him the first male face of the Chanel No 5 campaign ever.

The actor follows in the footsteps of Nicole Kidman, Catherine Deneuve and Audrey Tautou in endorsing the iconic scent – but, while the perfume itself is known as Chanel No 5, we have a feeling that Brad Pitt’s sensual advert is sure to make him Chanel’s No. 1.
