The Miami Heat blew out the Milwaukee Bucks in their postseason opener on Sunday, and it wasn’t just the diehard fans that were excited about it. Rihanna was in the building, and she was wearing an interesting pair of sunglasses. They were sort of a cross between Kanye West’s plastic slitted shades and something you can buy in the kids’ section of the Disney store, but they probably cost as much as some of these two teams’ benchwarmers get paid in a year.
TNT color commentator Reggie Miller was happy to see Rihanna. He made that clear. It was awkward.
