Scout Willis, the 20-year-old daughter of Demi Moore and ex-husband Bruce Willis, was recently arrested on suspicion of underage drinking in public and showing a police officer a fake ID.
A transit cop detained her on Monday evening. The officer spotted her in Union Square in New York City holding an 8-ounce Pakistani beer and asked her about it, after which she showed a New York ID card that had the name Katherine Kelly printed on it, The New York Daily News reported.
The outlet said that Scout was then questioned about it and eventually pulled out her real California ID and said: “My name is Scout Willis. The first ID isn’t mine. My friend gave it to me. I don’t know Katherine Kelly.”
Scout was charged with two misdemeanors – a main charge of criminal impersonation in the second degree as well as a lesser charge of consumption of alcohol in public, and taken into custody at 6:50 p.m., according to court records. She was released without bail on Tuesday, June 5, and ordered to return to court on July 31.
Scout made headlines in March after posting a series of odd Twitter messages about her personal life, including one that read: “I hate capitalism like I hate my parents, but they both serve me so well.”
Her account was then deactivated and her spokesperson said that the messages were fake and were posted for a class assignment about social media.
Scout is the middle child of Moore, 49, and Bruce, 57. They are also parents to daughters Rumer Willis, 23, and Tallulah Willis, 18. In April, Bruce welcomed his fourth daughter, Mabel, who is his first child with second wife Emma, 34.
Scout is a student at Brown University in Rhode Island. She is an editor at the school’s alternative weekly newspaper The College Hill Independent.
