Following his earlier threats to cut off federal funding to the world-renowned American university, the president has stepped up his criticisms of the institution.
American president Trump tweeted on Truth Social two days after cutting $2.2 billion in multi-year federal funding to Harvard, saying, “Harvard teaches hatred and imbecility.”
For years, Harvard has been unchallenged at the top of the Shanghai world rankings of higher education institutions.
