Pamela Anderson has frozen out her toyboy lover after falling for her Dancing On Ice partner Matt Evers.
The former Baywatch star began secretly dating Matt last month, but the pair were eliminated from the show last week and she flew back to the States.
They are set to go public with their romance in March when Pamela returns to the UK for the final of the ITV1 series.
A source said the pair had “instant chemistry”, adding: “Matt is moping around like a love-sick puppy while Pammy keeps reassuring him how much she feels for him. They cannot wait to see each other again.”
Pamela, 45, was last seen with ex Jesus Villa – a Cirque du Soleil performer – in December.
Last night a spokeswoman for Matt confirmed the relationship, adding: “They formed a very close bond and have made plans to see each other in the very near future.”
She is the second star on the show to thaw relations with her lover after Corrie actress Samia Ghadie dumped actor Will Thorp – sparking rumours she was dating her skate partner, Sylvain Longchambon.
Around the same time Longchambon split from Hollyoaks’ Jennifer Metcalfe, who he was paired with on Dancing on Ice in 2011.
The show’s latest sweethearts, Canadian-born Pamela and 36-year-old American Matt, are now in constant telephone contact.
The source said: “No one imagined they would get together but after spending more and more time together away from the rink, things started to progress.
“Matt stayed with Pamela at her house in Malibu shortly before Christmas and they also went out for a couple of dinners in LA.
“She invited him to be her guest of honour at her New Year’s Eve party at the Dorchester in London, and it was then something first happened.
“During filming Pammy was renting a cottage and Matt stayed with her. After going shopping together, and Matt lugging back all her groceries, they were joking about how domesticated they’d become.”
After being controversially booted off the show following a skate-off with Keith Chegwin, the pair appeared on This Morning wearing matching I Skate With Him/Her T-shirts.
Actress Pamela has previously been married to Motley Crue frontman, Tommy Lee, who she has two children with.
