Mozambique’s June inflation steady at 2.8 pct

JOHANNESBURG (Reuters) – Mozambique’s inflation was unchanged at 2.8 percent year-on-year in June compared with May as the prices of food have eased over the past six months, data from the statistics agency showed on Thursday.

On a month-on-month basis prices fell by 0.34 percent in June compared with a 0.53 percent decline in May, the National Institute of Statistics said.
