It’s been 10 years since TLC
singer Lisa ‘left-eye’ Lopez passed away, and judging by the Twitter tribute messages left for the star today…she may be
gone, but definitely not forgotten!
Amongst the fan tweets were artists that had worked with Lisa previously,
including hip-hop star Missy Elliot, who re-tweeted:
“…paying respect to Left Eye of #TLC . Tomorrow will be 10 years
since she passed!”
Former TLC band mate Chilli also tweeted: “Thank u all so much for ur kind words…and thank u for
always remembering our sister, “Lisa Left Eye Lopes” TLC is 4eva!!!!!”
The band also spoke exclusively to
VH1:
“The word anniversary means a celebration. For us her death will never be a celebration, it’s still
something that hurts,” says T-Boz. Group member Chilli agrees, “Lisa is our sister. You never get over losing a family
member. We love her and we miss her and that isn’t ever going to change.”

Lisa!
