‘We’re just friends…’
The Saturdays star Mollie has shut down rumours that she’s
dating Prince Harry and insists that they are “just friends”.
Using the same ‘get out clause’ that we’ve heard so often in the
past, the ‘Notorious’ hitmaker decided to have a bit of a Twitter Q&A with her fans last night, where she tried to play
down the rumours.
Earlier this month, it was rumoured that Mollie and Prince Harry started dating after meeting at a
polo match two years ago. They were also spotted at the same nightclub, with sources claiming that the couple were secretly
dating.
Last night, Mollie tweeted: “Guys I’m getting lots of tweets about Prince Harry but as i said last wk,I’m
not dating him & we’re not in a relationship.We’re just friends.”
Mollie had kept quite tight-lipped over the
alleged budding romance in the last fortnight, even when grilled by Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw. This prompted her bandmate
Rochelle Wiseman to claim that she’d be more excited than anyone about the relationship, because then she would get to meet
Kate Middleton.
